The series:
"Anatolia Story" was released in Japan under the name "Sora wa akai kawa no hotori" (roughly: "The sky is () over the red river") and in English as "Red River" .
total there are 28 volumes. Volume 28 with some very nice extra stories contain.

opinion:
I love this series! Although it is now some years since I started a band but it is able to captivate me to this day.
time I had a phase where I'm totally happy to read time travel stories and adapted as "Anatolia Story" naturally perfect. Also, I've always been interested in the ancient world. The people of the Hittites I knew by then still not from the manga is my interest in this once great and powerful people meet. So I know about them and was amazed how much truth and correct historical facts, are in the manga. I was up on superficialities actually no historical accuracy expected and so I was very surprised to learn that there are people like Kail (Mursili III), his father, his brothers and even the Queen Nakia (a Babylonian princess who was not very nice also ;-)) really existed. There are many other persons from the have really lived, such as Ramses I, rulers of other nations.
vote but not the names of persons, whether they concern events that are incorrect. Here, the mangaka
has been really incredible effort and historical fact with fiction perfectly, in the form of the heroine Yuri, mixed.

True, the drawing style of manga is starting to get used to. However, this is one very soon no longer be on the drawings and from band to band better and better!

The love comes naturally, as it should be any different?, Not too short. Yuri and Kail are a great couple! You seen how both change over the course of the story and develop. Thus, from the very confused and helpless Yuri, a strong, confident and intelligent woman. And Kail, who had nothing in his head as flirtations, it means to be one of the greatest kings of ancient history and recognizes what true love.

extends the story of the manga over several years, and historical events which will take place at this time are woven into the story well. Also plays History not only in the kingdom of the Hittites, Yuri namely there it among others, to Egypt or to the kingdom of Mitanni.

Conclusion:
"Anatolia Story" is always one of my absolute favorite manga. Besides the fun of reading, you learn something about that is also still the same old story :-)

assessment.
5 / 5 Dream Dust
prizes for the entire series!

That was the way, even here at amazon about the manga:
There is Yuri, the space and time and overcame in the old country came to the Hittites. During imposed on the fate of so many hard trial, she gave the love to the king and took the rocky road of a queen. The powerful Roman history on the ground found in Volume 28 of Anatolia a majestic conclusion! To round off a magnificent collection, we find as an additional stories or episodes that have not been told in the main story or act in time to Kail and Yuri.
I am very pleased to hear that the manga is referred to as a "huge historical novel! This has the story in any case deserve!
