opinion:
"After the summer" I was immediately drawn into its spell. The words fantastic, exciting, emotional and heartbreaking descriptive of the book perfectly.
The writing is fluid and dreamy handle. It is told from two perspectives. Once out of Grace (the main female character) and from the perspective of Sam (the main male character). Both characters were immediately sympathetic to me and you get a very good insight into the emotional world of the two.
Even side characters that win over the book more and more important, were very well described. The author appealed much emphasis on the feelings and resulting behaviors of those.
the end I liked very well and touched my heart. The last pages were described simply gorgeous and full of feeling that I have read it countless times before I put the book down.
Conclusion:
A really commendable and wonderful book! . Especially suitable for the autumn season, as most of the action plays in the fall but also for any other season ideal :-)

eptember 2011 appears the 2nd part "Linger" in the title "Rest the light" in German. Part 3, "Forever" will appear in July 2011 in English. The German version of "In Your Eyes" is unfortunately still to September 2012 in coming.
The German names of all 3 volumes resulting the way the sentence "After the Summer Rest the light in your eyes" . I find this idea very original and it perfectly captures the mood of the books.
